Plant Cell vs Animal Cell
Goal: Be able to write a paragraph comparing a plant cell to an animal cell. Be able to list five differences between plant and animal cells.
Agenda:
1. Review using white boards.
2. Review Cell Comparison Lab worksheet.
3. Writing terms: thesis sentence, transition words, supporting evidence and conclusion.
Tutorial:
Amoeba Sisters - Introduction to Cells
Reminder: Finish answering questions 1-6 on the back of the Cell Comparison Lab. We will write the paragraph tomorrow.

Prokaryotic vs Eukaryotic Cells
Goal: Write a paragraph explaining the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic as well as being able to list parts that are found in all cells.
Agenda: I will at a biology conference in San Diego.
1. You will need 3 handouts.
2. Follow the instructions on the assignment handout.
3. Color both the animal cell and plant cell handouts.

Presenting Your First Iron Chef

Learning a New Protocol - Iron Chef
Goal: Be able to 1) share a slide deck on google, 2) change the font on a slide, 3) copy pictures onto a slide. Be able to 4) summarize a reading, 5) create a slide deck that summarizes the important details, and 6) present your slide.

Learning Google Slides
Goal: Be able to 1) save a slide deck in a folder, 2) change font size, 3) insert, crop, and change the transparency of a picture, 4) use word art, and 5) change the background a slide.
Agenda:
1. Click on the link in your Google Classroom to watch the tutorial video.
2. Click on the slide deck link to get a copy. This will be your canvas to practice.
3. Pause and replay the video as needed.
